Kay Langdon was born in Camden, NJ later moving to
Princeton. She
attended Syracuse University School of Fine Arts majoring in Interior Design.
Kay relocated to Northern NJ in the 1960's establishing
herself as an interior designer for B. Altman & Co. in Manhattan and Paramus,
NJ. Later Kay designed decorative fabrics for the hospitality industry and
worked for a textile printing company. Among her clients were
Marriott,
Raddison, Sheraton and Ramada Inn.
Kay then became a Vice President and
Partner of a nationally recognized country club
interior design company. Her
clients include over 100 prestigious clubs in the Northeast

now is the time to express my creativity through painting. The beauty of the Low
Country is my inspiration. “Kay resides in Wachesaw Plantation, Murrells Inlet,
SC.
Kay is a Member of the
Georgetown
Cultural Council and Seacoast Artists Guild. Her work can be viewed at Island
Art Gallery, Pawley's Island and Collectors Cafe, Myrtle Beach.
